Newstead Abbey Exhibition

Lace legacy exhibition 

As a group we were kindly invited to produce work to be  exhibited alongside Newstead abbeys lace legacy exhibition. We visited the abbey, walked the grounds, researched and created various pieces of work. 

A few of us went over to install the exhibition a few days before the launch. I had never had the experience of being part of or installing an exhibition before so I couldn’t miss the opportunity. It was a great day organising the works and adding finale touches. 

The launch day went all too plan and I was really pleased with how it all turned out. I was also excited for friends and family as well as the public to see our work hung in such a beautiful location.
