 Lino Printing

Lino printing is a similar process to embossing, Lino printing is a form of block printing where you carve your design into a sheet of plastic. You then use that plastic carving and stack it on your paper and use a large press machine to evenly press your image. I created a very similar fern design in my Lino and used a mix of green and blue inks to give the pieces a more natural feel. I enjoyed this process but next time I’d like to be neater when pressing my images so the outlines were crisper.
