Primary research - Hopkinson’s   

For more inspiration and ideas for my cabinet of curiosity project I took a trip to my favourite store, Hopkinson's  . Hopkinson’s is a multi storied vintage shop, with different floors dedicated to different things such as, oddities, the macabre, things from different eras and even a museum of haunted objects, a true emporium of inspiration. When there I took multiple photos to work from for supporting works, collected and bought many objects to use in my artworks along with things I already own, I brought multiple bones and little things of interest. The best thing I found when there was an actual cabinet of curiosities which obviously was great for the flowing of ideas for my own work. A productive and inspiring shopping trip.
