 Aims for my project  

I will be looking at structure in the sense of value and how we assign it. The idea of museum structure, how something is just a mere object until we feel it’s worthy. This will all tie in will the Erewash exhibitions as I will be taking inspiration from their cabinet of curiosities and creating my own in response. Playing around with the idea of personal museums. I want to create a series of ceramic cabinets with plaster and ceramic objects inside, I will gold leaf the objects and glaze the cabinets in a neutral colour to give the objects a nice contrast. I’m thinking about creating 2 contrasting series’s of cabinets if I have time, one traditional set which is my first idea and then a modern set with objects like bank cards and elf bars and things to show how values adapt. My main idea is to just create the traditional set and then only the modern one if I have time.
