Self written project. 

For my self derived project i have decided to explore the theme of shadows and light. At my starting point ive been thinking about possible mediums and routes to form my ideas, i think i possibly want to work with ceramics, painting and video work. I have been thinking about what objects cast shadows, different sources of light and patterns and forms. I have collected together all of my own images of shadows i already have to draw ideas and inspiration from but ill also take some better initial photographs. 

However, my direction of travel, mediums and ideas have been constantly changing throughout this project. I deliberated over many different ways to fully form my ideas around shadows from storytelling to nightmares, until i finally just let myself be more practice driven with painting instead of over thinking my ideas .
