 Shadow painting   

Now that I had decided painting was the route I wanted to take, in particularly painting shadows, I just had to think of a way to elevate my ideas without making things to complex again. I deliberated over how to do this for a few day until I was kind of out of ideas again. I was sat on my bed with my sketchbook and there was this vivid shadow on the wall from my windowsill, so i attached one of the canvas boards to the wall and painted directly from the shadow. This really basic idea all of a sudden just clicked and worked really well as a way to begin to add extra context and meaning to the paintings.
