 Lino print  

Although I was creating more paintings I still felt quite disheartened over the ripped painting, not so much because of the painting itself but because I really liked the shadow. I had a few spare pieces of lino so decided to make this small little version of the kitchen windowsill shadow. This little print isn't completely exact to the shadow in some aspects like the leafy area as it was just a little sketch but I don't think that matters. One thing I did forget about when creating this lino was that the image inverts when printed, so I should have drawn the image inverted, again I don't think this is something that really matters in terms of the print and I'm just happy to have a piece of art from that captures the shadow.
