Ripped canvas  

After the canvas ripped I still tried to persevere with it for a little bit longer. The rip was pretty large I wasn't sure id be able to fix it without it being noticeable so I thought about how I could incorporate it. I thought I could perhaps sew it back together, using a bright yellow thread to incorporate the colours and leaving thread hanging thinking it would make it some kind of cool mixed media thing but in the end it just made it look messy and made the tare worse. After realising this I just took the thread out and covered the needle holes in thick paint leaving the tear so I could take it into the studio and get better opinions on how to fix it.
