 Mono printing  

On Wednesday morning a few of us still hadn't really identified which direction we would be taking this project so we went over to the print room induction with the first years. Despite already being fairly familiar with the print room it was good to refresh the brain on how all the stuff worked. Whilst there we did mono printing, this is a fairly easy process that just consists of rolling a thin layer of ink onto a plate, laying your paper over and just using pressure on the paper to imprint your drawing onto it. As i wasn't really sure what I was going to be doing within the project at this point i just used this time to make some different interesting marks and patterns.
