Table self Zine
I made a small 8 page zine from an A4 template. I printed out a few of my favourite images of the tables and some text. When thinking about text I decided to stick with the original name and kept the rest short and simple as to keep readers attention, focusing on rhetorical questions. I cut them all out and decorated the A4 template, I used graph paper, pink paper, little pencil drawings and crayon scribbles. As its a zine I went for a much more embellished scrap book approach to putting it together compared to the books, this did allow me to add more of the personal style I like into this project, it reminds me of my past paintings and I feel like its helped me connect the things I like most about my work together. I drew the little pencil bow sketch for the front page not only because of my liking of bows but also as a nod to the original painting I'm responding to. Everything was either glued onto the template or loosely stuck on with tape and blue tack, but as I reproduced it on the photocopier this worked out fine. The whole zine basically just acts as a visual version of my original text post, asking for peoples participation in sending me images.
