Case Binding practice

After more research into bookbinding I found when making, the book is split into two different parts/process, the cover and the text block (the pages). There a few different process for making covers but the main two being perfect binding and case binding. Perfect binding is the process you'd use to make a paper back or softcover book and Case binding being the method for hardback books.  I want to make my book hard cover so decided to try out and practice case binding. At the begging I thought this would be really difficult but followed a tutorial on YouTube and it was really simple and easy. I'm very pleased with how the cover turned out, it has the professional feel I was going for. To get a proper feel for how the final book will look I attached in the other practice book id made, the other practice book isn't made correctly so this book isn't sturdy enough but was effective for gaining a vision of the finished product. Next I need to do more research into the different process's for making the text block so I can begin the proper final book.
