Studio practice
Testing in place pt 2
After testing out my ideas in Waterstones I felt confident enough to try it again on the train home. It was early afternoon so the train was very empty which definitely helped, if it was busy I don’t think I would have tried it.
I set the camera up on a small table top tripod on one of the tables across from me. Whilst setting it up the train cleaners did come on and did kind of question why I setting up a camera, but they were really friendly and had no problems with it. I did get nervous when they were questioning it but as they were nice and cool about it i still felt ok about continuing. As I’d sat down to begin sewing a lady did get and was sat a bit behind me, so she could see what I was doing, I just kinda smiled to be friendly and tried to forget she was there. I did feel quite confident doing it, but as I was filming on the large camera and was alone I was quite anxious to keep an eye on it and think in busier situations I’d feel more comfortable with someone there to watch the camera.
