Monday progression sessions

 NTU degree show   

Julian took us on a trip to the NTU fine art degree shows to gain some inspiration for our own display in the upcoming exhibitions. I do already have an idea of how i want to display my work but it was still helpful to see other work being made by creatives in the city. The main thing i took away from this visit was to do with showing my video, i noticed all film were shown on nice clean screens, attached flat to the wall. Previously when I've shown videos at the college i get a nice large screen but there always attached to an ugly bulky stand, it gives an aesthetic of high school whiteboard rather than clean exhibition. This has made me consider if its possible to board my displaying space in a way that would either make it possible to hide the stand or attach a screen directly to the board.
