Studio practice

 Castle show poster    

I offered to make the posters for both the castle show and the studio exhibition. I created both posters from the prompts and guidance given by my tutor on the sort of poster he was imagining. I came up with a design for the exhibition poster first and adapted it for this show. The images are mine and other students work, i asked for them to send me any images they would want on the poster, i didn't get many images so worked with the few i did get. I kept the text brief, my tutor came up with the title and we agreed we liked it, "jelly & lace" a playful simplification on the content of the show. Then just a brief description on the show, the dates and address, keeping it simple makes the poster more punchy.
