 Flowers and lies zine   

Flowers and lies is a zine i put together a few months ago for the zine fair, The fmp hadn't begun yet but this was the beginning of current ideas. This zine is a collection of lies from a parent paired with images of apology flowers received. The lies are printed on tracing paper, one side showing typical lies like "bread crusts make your hair curly" the other side showing more hurtful lies and remarks experienced. The zine also contains tracing paper scans of flower packaging for visuals. This zine looked slightly different when i first made it to sell at the zine fair, i was going to leave it there but i recently decided to include it in the Fmp, so i gave it a slight redesign of the cover and image formatting. I have decided i will remake this zine with the Japanese stab binding for the final exhibition.
