Artist information card
Artist business/ information cards are something our tutor has mentioned to consider for the end of year show. When visiting the NTU graduate shows most students had some sort of information cards, some universal provided by the uni but the best ones were the ones students had independently printed. I have previously made DIY cards, and have ran into situations like the zine fair where i had wished i had printed cards. I designed a simple card design, i chose a muted pink colour and one of my flower images. I turned down the opacity of the image to make it more subtle. I have tried to design cards before but found it difficult with my work, i don't have an overly illustrative style, no graphics to add to the card, i found straight photos can look to commercial. Turning down the images capacity seemed to resolve this issue. For the text i kept it very brief, my name and my main three mediums. I didn't want to add a project description as then i wont be able to use any left over cards again, and there will be a wall text panel in the show so i don't think i need it written twice. On the back i just put my socials, my Instagram, linkdin and email, i have other socials but i didn't want to overdo the back with information so kept it simple.
