Shadow projector
I decided to try and create basic light projectors. My first attempt at this had a very DIY, kids craft activity feel to it due to the low budget materials but this was intentional as i didn't know if these methods would work so tried to use what i already had. I used toilet roll tubes with clear tape attached on either end, with a pre-brought sticker on one end. Then i taped these tubes to my phone and lent it up against my easel like a make shift tripod. I turned out the big light and turned on my phone torch creating a projection of the shadows of the shapes against the white wall. This activity began my ideas around shadows and nightmares. This activity did physically work but if i were to do it again i would elevate it by using larger tubes, paper cut outs instead of pre bought stickers and think about the context of where the shadows are projected.
